Starting files for a serious salvor..! The Tor

Loss of the Tor in the storm (19th century)

This was the most violent storm ever seen in the Black sea. 50 merchantmen were lost on this occasion, one of them, the Tor, had 25 jews as passengers from Egypt.

All were lost, as well as 30.000 sequins they were carrying with them... (approx. 105 kgs)

Note: 1 sequin = 3,5 g of fine gold
