Otto Nordenskjöld 100 Years - Breaking heavy pack ice to make it there. The famous Swedish Explorer was shipwrecked in 1902 off the coast of Snowhill Island on the Eastern Antarctic Peninsula. The crew spent two winters in a self-built hut.
